  1. To provide for the common good.


  2. We want to try and avoid absolute chaos.

  3. When you have many people living in an area together, you need laws and government to regulate the disputes and competing interests between different people.  Disputes could be "regulated" privately, but the result is always worse than with laws and government.

  4. To prevent powerful individuals in taking things on their hands by forming their own rules and regulations, common laws which take care of all people are formed. Governments are formed for the welfare of all citizens and to regulate and administrate as per the laws of the country.

  5. Because Anarchy doesn't allow for accomplishing much...

  6. So that the people will have peace to each other...

  7. So we don't have chaos.
