If you are talking about Garry Glitter,he has as much right as any other Briton to enter the U.K.No one can,legally prevent him from doing so.I cannot understand what all of this venomous hatred is for.I don't remember an american freak,with a penchant for little boys,having this reception.The american freak with a clip on nose,paid one little boy fifteen million dollars to keep quiet,and he was not the only one bought off.If Garry Glitter committed the offence,he has served the sentence that was handed down to him.Now,give it a rest,there are worse things happening in the world,than the release of this person.I am NOT defending him,I am just trying to put things into perspective.

i agree, problem is the law states that when deported someone has to be returned to their own country

personally i agree with letting him rot or prefereably execution

Thanks LJC - that's what I thought but then there were comments about the US and I wondered if I had made a false assumption.

I didn't think we would be paying his upkeep so I didn't understand your comments - he's earning loads of dosh from royalties. Who the h**l would play his stuff now.
