Why do we have to do this?

me and my friend want to go to the hospital an read and visit sick kids but theyre asking us to fill out this huge application and get letters of reccomendation and r transcript and the only time available is during school hours. do you think we can call and see if they will accept us and let us stay for a few hours?

think of it this way -- if ur have a child in a hospital, you would probably want anybody that could potentialy "hurt" them to be thoroughly screened..

they would probably accept you though
