Why do we have to pass the constitution???

In the U.S. the constitution has been, passed, for 200 + yrs and has been amended along the way. Not sure what country you are referring to, it was some time ago I had heard that Iraq, new government was suppose to be working on a constitution. Perhaps you need to say where you are from or what country you are referring too.

We don't have to pass it.  It's already been ratified and in force for over 200+ years.

What? The Constitution was ratified in 1789 a long time before you were born.
