Why do we have to pay the goverment so much when they do so little?

I agree.  We should not be paying so much.  All government services should be pay-per-use.  I bet I never even see most of the government programs our tax dollars are funding.  There should be a charge every time you need to use a government service, accompanied by low or no taxes.  

Here is what I would do.  Flat 5%-10% income tax to support defense and basic administrative costs.  Everything else is pay-per use.  

For example, All roads are toll roads.  You pay a fee for the number of miles you drive in a year that would go to upkeep.  

Et cetera.

Its the democratic way  tax tax tax    and spend our money

on people that are just leaching off our Good will

I don't mind helping people who deserve help but look at all the blood suckers we take care of that could take care of themselves
