Why do we indentify our planet as mother earth..?

Its because Earth is our shelter and also it gives us what we need like air,light,water

because we are born from it, it takes care of us.... and no matter how much damage we cause to it, it still holds us close and keeps us alive and provides us with what we need to be happy...what we do with these things is a whole other story

aside from this we shouldnt be hurting it like we are because as much pain our mothers take from us, that pain can eventually kill her.
