Why do we keep putting ourselves in danger by supporting Israel?

9/11 and other attacks are a result of our support if Israel and involvement in the Middle East.

What am I missing here? What is so great about Israel? Tell me please...

In three simple words: The Christian Right. The poor misguided people think and have been taught that the Bible says things about Jews and the current State of Israel that are simply NOT true. Read the Bible. Know and understand what it says not what people say it says.

It was originally messed up when they decided to bring displaced Jews from WWII into Israel while pushing out Palestinians who resided there before them. They basically fixed a problem by creating an even larger one that is still here today, and probably will be for  hundreds of years to come.

Since it is considered the "holy land" Christians and Jews feel the responsibility of keeping it within their people (like an extension of the Crusades).

Because the west love and always pander to the Zionist murderers. Just because the Holocaust happened does not mean they can do whatever they want without anyone saying anything. Why should they be the ONLY middle eastern country with nuclear bomb when they have shown time and time again they are irresponsible and not fit to have them as they have attacked Lebanon and the people of Palestine, and seem to want to attack Iran.

What is so pleassing about Israel? What planet you live on? Israel and the Zionists control and have a controlling interest in anything worth having control over. This includes, governmental, financial, military, medical and technological. Most world leaders and leaders of major institutions are either Jews or Zionist or somehow related or connected to those persons.

Israel is the root of all evil in this world and it is responsible for the worlds problems particularly those involving Muslims as they are h**l bent on attacking Muslims.

They should not have any military capabilities unless they can show restraint and responsibility. If not, other countries should be allowed to have nuclear bombs as well.

The war in Iraq was fought mainly to  protect Israel, Israel is in a permanent  dangerous stalemate  with all surrounding Arab/Muslim states.The Iraq war may cost the USA $2 or$3TRILLION  and all because of Israeli control of the USA

It's not only a political involvement but also a religious sentimentality toward the nation of Israel and keeping her safe.  That's the driving force.
