Why do we keep.....?

Why do we keep polluting, cutting down trees, etc. if global warming is so serious? Are these 'evil' companies stupid?

We as humans want to get richer and powerful without looking at the harm that we do. We keep buying thier products, they keep making it.

We keep cutting down trees because people need to build houses.  Companies aren't 'evil'.  Do you buy their products?  Does this make you 'evil' too then?

When we can all surf the internet with our bicycle powered computers built with organic parts while we wear all organic clothing and eat only the grains and fruits that fall from the tree or vine, then we're all consumers and none of use can cast a stone.

Probably because its seen as essential to our life style, as in, everyone has been told about global warming but people still drive cars.

People like to ignore things and pretend its not their problem, even though i guess it is everyones problem.

not even the extinction of man will stop global warming. It is a natural event that the world does. The world heats up and cools down and has been doing it for millions of years. It is questionable rather we began global warming or not but is more then likely we are contributing to it, but we don't know how much. It is also unknown if there would be any change in global warming if we stop polluting all together. there is no doubt we are affecting the atmosphere, and that is not a good thing. but the atmosphere and earth's climate is always changing and there really isn't much we can do about that except try and not to contribute to it.

Your use of a computer....in which you can ask this question uses energy.  The creation of this energy adds to global warming and to pollution.

It has to do with everything we do!

Does your home contain a nice flat screen TV?  Newer TVs consume much more energy than older ones.  This adds to pollution and global warming.

We don't, there are more trees in America than there has been since humans have been here, and air quality continues to improve every decade.

we people aren't "evil"!!! we are just trying to survive in with our technology!!! plus, there's no global warming and why do you "liars" keep going on about it if no ones going to listen to you guys. i mean everyones just like We need to stop it!!! be there are tons of people that won't listen cuz all of this global warming stuff is a huge lie.

Some People just dont care they are following other people advice that global warming doesnt exist i am trying to pick up garbages from the floor and recycle the food that i disposed and bury them in my garden so that the flowers can grow more healthier.

Company are just dumb only caring for themselves knowing that  they will destroy everything that lives and everything that gives us life they wont have a life if they keep up with the problems.

So i would say they are evil because they dont care they only care about money and the economy they dont care about the environment.
