Why do we need children to inform on their parents if they commit climate crimes like in the book '1984'?

Isn't this getting a bit scary teaching kids to act like they did in n**i Germany? I'm all for helping the environment, but I don't approve of this kind of man-made global warming non-sense.

Have fun with your fascism, but my community will protest it.

We need children to emphasize the importance of healthy living habits because most parents are blinded by materialism and capitalism to realize that they are killing the earth. Raping and pilaging the earth of all its resources is not healthy.  

Do you see other familiarities to n**i Germany other than this? I would be interested in the similaries since you seem to be an expert. i.e the patriot act.

Reporting global warming crimes makes as much sense as reporting Jews.  Both are a political tool for uniting people against a perceived enemy.  

Seems that with the decline in religious faith, end of the cold war, people need a purpose.  Even though environmental protection standards are higher than ever, global warming provides some people with direction.

Has anyone here seen the ads or read the original website or downloaded the teaching material? Because it doesn't look like it!

In reality, not the spiral of hype that is expanding daily on the web, this educational tool is about as harmless as getting people who want to diet to note down what they eat on a daily basis and highlighting the "wrong" foods.

It is certainly less harmful than those other neo-n**i organisations and activities such as:

Boy scouts and girl guides

University fraternities and sororities

Ultra-violent video games

etc.

C'mon guys, it's just a voluntary educational tool that is not, repeat not, a "1984" style pogrom.

Don't act as if you are a 1984-prole without the capacity for independent thought believing everything that the media throws at you: Look it up for yourself!
