Dancing is music, visualized. It's like watching lyrics and notes come to life. It's a form of entertainment. It's also an art form, but no one ever asks, "Why do we need music?" or, "Why do we need art?"

Dance is a way to connect one's soul with other art forms like music, acting...it's just amazing.

I used dance as a stress-reliever. Whatever I was worried about, whatever was bothering me, I just used it to fuel my dancing. Dancing gave me a sense of self, it helped me realize who I am as a person. I found how to express myself using different songs and various styles and after a few years, I just kind of fell into certain styles that I best identified with. Dancing was a part of the best 15 years of my life and I would never trade what I gained from it for anything.

Dancing should be about creative expression.  You're free to do what you please.  Release your energy and just move to have fun, entertain, or exercise.  With dancing, there are no limitations.  

Professional dancing requires staying in sync with a team and cooperating with your team.  If you're alone you need to need to work on expertise your moves.
