  1. hmmmm, I didn't know we did.

  2. Eternal happiness is the happiness you share with all whom you live with! Happiness is the only thing in the world that CAN MULTI BY BY DIVIDING IT!

Anything said as eternal and immortal beyond our life on Earth is beyond our thinking and control which need not make ourselves to get away from our COMMUNITY,which we need to love and care to create that eternal peace and happiness on Earth!

  3. Happiness is a worthy goal, even though there are some who do not see this. But not all the suppositions of natural philosophy are valid; for example, the hypothetical ether, which represents an ingenious attempt of man to unify his ignorance of space phenomena. The philosophy of the universe cannot be predicated on the observations of so-called science. If such a metamorphosis could not be seen, a scientist would be inclined to deny the possibility of developing a butterfly out of a caterpillar.

  4. Imagine a world that is decaying.  Slowly it slides into non-existence.  While neither good nor bad, this example explains why those that see good and because of it also see a better future.  We call that progress.

Without progress what do we have? The classic battle between good and evil with evil winning.  So eternal happiness, however obtainable, provides us, the good, with a goal if nothing else.

We may not need eternal happiness but for our earthly wellbeing, we need the pursuit of it.

  5. Because without it we are subject to suffering and not knowing the source of it, thus we remain in ignorance.  Eternal Happiness is possible by realizing that the source is from with in rather from without.  External happiness is temporary and subject to gain and loss.  This causes anger, greed, jealously, and other human/animal behaviors, thus eternal happiness alludes us.  That is why all spiritual and religious authorities teach to seek happiness within the Self, such as in Zen Buddhism and the likes.  We just don't want to listen to those who have been where we want to go and we instead fruitlessly seek it out on our own.

  6. because it beats eternal shittyness hand down

  7. Happiness is the emotional pleasure derived from success.

It exists to encourage us to suceed.

Not sure where you're getting the 'eternal' from though.

  8. We don't. And I doubt such a thing exists.

  9. do we? do we really? perhaps that´s just in the eyes of the beholder. . .But in the end we´re all just selfish, we want happiness, and we almost make that a law. you be happy, or you die.
