Why do we need oil when we can make it for next to nought?

We will always need oil!  Oil is what keeps our industry moving along!  

Can we get more of it so that our prices for gas and diesel go down - certainly!  Cheaper supplies of oil will make our food prices cheaper too!   If you think we ought to avail ourselves of the vast amounts of oil present in America - don't vote for liberal democrats!

It is liberal democrats who keep us from drilling for oil off our coasts!  This only applies to U.S. citizens because in international waters Russia, Iran, Communist China, North Korea and Cuba can do it - but only U.S. citizens can not!

It is liberal democrats who prevent us from drilling in Alaska!    Oil in Alaska wouldn't flow for many years but if we do not start now we won't get it when we really need it in the future! China and India are laying claim to more and more oil every year - oil that we will never get!

It is liberal democrats who prevent Americans from converting coal to a fluid fuel.  We (the U.S.) have some of the biggest coal deposits in the world!   Getting oil from coal is not a new science, it has been around for a long, long time!  Now we can make that form of oil processing even cleaner!

Of course, it is liberal democrats who prevent us from building refineries and nuclear power plants.  Refineries will be needed for any new oil we get!  Nuclear power plants will allow us to use oil for more common purposes like heating homes and moving cars!   Burning oil to make electricity is a needless waste of oil when we could use nuclear power production!

Why do we need oil ? well to make petrol or diesel engines work.

It's how thew rich stay rich.

Arms,oil and exploitation of the economic weaknesses of others. Oh and they do cause trouble amongst the thiko's amongst us by feeding the poor adictive things which split families up and by depriving the poor and easily impressionable of money and an education.

if we made it ourselves the government would lose out on all the revenue they make from it. same reason they dont ban cigs. they make millions out of allsorts.
