Question:

Why do we need to import sheep?

from the Netherlands or anywhere else? Blue tongue is the latest disease to hit livestock why allow imports from areas where the problem exists? We seem to have plenty of our own healthy sheep!

  2. I just KNEW the Welsh were going to be mentioned.........AGAIN........YAWN!

    But in all honesty, I cannot understand why we import any livestock to be honest!

    We managed before and now we do import, all it does is cause problems to the farming community.......will they ever learn?

    Cheaper most probably, but the sooner the term "You pay for what you get" is learnt the better!

    Perhaps it's a sheep exchange program. The Welsh sheep get to go to Europe for the summer holidays!
