  1. because the exam dudes say so

  2. Why do we need to study anything?

To learn about things we don't know.

  3. It helps your understanding of the evolutionary process.

  4. Perhaps the teacher has a preference for cats.  However, as a biologist I'd pick another species.  Mostly because cats have become domestic pets.  But, perhaps the teacher wants to use an animal you can all associate with.  You know cats and dogs.

  5. Because....Cats will eventually be the dominant life force on this planet....and they know it.

Why else do you think they are so smug.

  6. why learn anything in school... exercise for yo brain

  7. It's always good to keep learning. There's always something new to learn about everything. "We" don't have to study it if "we" don't want to. It's the scientists and that's what they do. If there wasn't something new to study, there would be no need for scientists and researchers. If you don't care, that's fine but other people wanna know more, so they have people who will get info about it for those people.
