  1. because we humans need everything.

    you name it,we NEED it.

  2. Firstly we need water to hydrate our bodies, we also need it for food processing.

Secondly we need it for industrial applications such as power generation.

Thirdly we need it for recreational activites, such as sailing and aquariums etc. On the other hand we need it for dissolving agents or solvents.

Lastly for agriculture and other chemical uses.

I hope this helped :) Have a good day.

  3. Water helps carry out functions of the body (i.e. perspiration, urination, salivation, etc.) working along with minerals and nutrients from food. Also, our bodies can be anywhere from 65% to 74% water

  4. our bodies are made up of alot of water that is why we need it. our body would not function without water and yes in the end you would die. water also does amazing things to your body like it flushes out your system, helps to keep your skin hydrated which in turn makes your skin look alot healthier.water is also a great appetite suppressant, and often when we think we're hungry, we're actually just thirsty. water helps to keep your body healthy and can also help hydrate you if you have a head ache.

  5. because without it we'll die.

  6. Well, since our bodies are composed of around 70-80% water.. I think we'd die without it.

  7. because we would die without it....thats all i need to know to want to drink it

  8. to hydrate us since our body is composed mainly of water

  9. to live

  10. We well find out when the drought finishes the water off in Georgia.

  11. Because we are mostly water.

  12. We need water because 70% of our body is just water. The other 30% is just chemicals. If we let just 5% of our body's water evaporate (turn to water vapour and go into the clouds) then we'd over heat and the electronic signals in our body that make our muscles move (including our heart) would be unable to conduct and travel through any thing and our heart would stop working.

  13. are you serious?

  14. ofcourse not for ur name sake!!!

    hope u dont mind

well will i have to narrate the age old story about properties of water?

    http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGkiO140xIXm...

just go to effects of water on human civilization

well if u asked biological importance ur 60-70% of body weight constitute water.

now can u imagine ur life without water?

  15. Because life = liquid water.

  16. Many many reasons - without water our cells would actually burst.

For example, think of the slug.  Cover it in salt (which means the water is drawn from its body to the outside), it then begins to die.  The cells have burst.

Not that a human would "dissolve" in a similar way - but its a good enough example to give you an idea of the seriousness of lack of water.

Truely though, I could lecture you for hours on all the different processes that require water - but i think my cells might burst at the boredom of it all

  17. It is told to help get rid of fat ...although too much water is bad but we do need 7 to 8 glasses a  day ...
