We have held sancitons against Cuba for decades becaeu they are a "communist country" but we won't ev en protest when CHina, a far bigger and more inhumane communist country, shoots Tibetans and beats their monks. Tibet is an occupied country that only asks the CHinese to let them live in autonomous peace, but China continues its horrific treatment of the Tibetans and ignores all pleas from anyone or any country.

Do we protitute ourselves because China holds a significant portion of our naitonal debt?

Boycott the Olympics!

  1. Mostly because it is on television, and not a reality to be reckoned with in the American world.

The Chinese government is brutal and very stealthy when it comes to human rights. Believe me...China is much more communist than the media has led you to believe.

I hope the Tibetans will be able to gain some freedom. Truly the free countries of this world have forgotten the price for freedom.

  2. What is happening right now in Tibet is clearly an organized, well planned VIOLENT "incident" by Dalai Lama who is funded by anti-China foreign government. They picked the moment right before Olympics.

Those people who "protest" are thugs. You can see in the video, they are burning down shops, cars on the streets. They would have been arrested in ALL countries for doing this.

By the way, Dalai Lama was the biggest slave owner in Tibet. All the land in TIbet were owned by the monks who were serving Dalai Lama. Majority population were bonded to the land owned by those monks. There was no such thing as "Tibet freedom" before communists took over. Western anti-communists mass media brainwashed people to believe Dalai Lama is a peace loving monk, because they want to demonlize the Chinese government.

Tibet was a part of Qing Dynasty.  It "broke away" at 1912 after Chinese revolution when warlords were busying fighting each other.  It was always a part of China.  There is no such thing as "invade" nor "taking their land".  They still have their land.  Unlike native americans.

Just take a good look at the videos in the following links. Those aren't even "protests", it's CRIME.

  3. Americans can be very frustrating on this.  They take moral stands all the time, but almost always things that don't cause too much discomfort.

When we boycott Cuba, we don't really know how it's hurting us, if it even is.  But it's obvious that we couldn't go without Chinese goods, it would hurt us too much.  Sorry Tibet, you picked the wrong place and time to have problems.

But remember, America is the best thing ever.  Ignorance is bliss.

  4. they dont have oil

  5. I agree with you on most points, but I think after this Iraq we learned that we cannot go to war with everyone, without anybodies help.

I suggest that we Boycott the Olympics for the reason you stated, and also the air quality is awful, you have to wear a face mask..  No need putting them in danger.

But I think this time, another country will have to take on this evil, and of course we will help them..  but we have no support anywhere in the world to make this happen.

  6. China, want to be who they have not justly earned nor learned being. They have all of the information concerning Tibet, lie and say that it is theirs and still with paper in hand, can't do it. The rightful One of whom it truly belongs to; Conquer over it being led without the map. A distant Spiritual Map to be exact I say with confidence giving all glory to the Divine Source in goodness...

They just need to get over themselves and quit playing that something is theirs and it really isn't. The Tibentans already know. They are aware of all who tried to slay, take over or defile. It is what it is and no one can change that fact no matter what! Truth sets you free.

They should call their elders to help them remember whom taught whom? The ego seldomly allow inner peace to guide the path unto truth and friendship...

This is the prime example of why communist countries attempt to do so in the first case. Someone around and near has something that they want and can't have. So with marshall law attemps trying to control lead to devestation to all.

Truth be told, in deed and action, will put much of the discord, well all of it, in it's place.

If they keep the Tibetans under-cover their claim to fame will continue to be in their clutches. I am sure that due time awaits them to confess ill-deeds and give honor and tribute where it is rightfully due. Take away all of their participation and see how they fall in formation. It's all, ONE SOURCE, lies don't excuse fact. Fact remains what it is TRUTH.

  7. Back in the eighties after the US and Russia took turns boycotting the Olympics a rule was passed that if a country boycotts the Olympics it can't participate in the next one either.

There have been many attempts to speak to China about its human rights violations but what can be done? It is a rising power and it trades with just about everyone on Earth.

It seems that all products are manufactured there these days and like you mentioned, they lend countries trillions of dollars.

  8. you have to remember that chinas closest friends are the clintons. we dont owe the chinese any money! only the central bank can loan money to other countries. we buy their cheap goods and they buy our food. california central valley ship most of the product to china. we need them as much as they need us except clinton did not have the balls to see that. recently our policy has change. the bush admin are not afraid of china for recognizing taiwan and condoning the tibetan attacks. they are also informing the public of how unsafe chinese products are with lead base paint. paint they have been using since the beginning and we are only being made aware of it now. chinese poured so much money to clinton campaign. he sold us out to the chinese.

  9. Well Hussein did the same thing, we go to war and look at what the liberal Americans say.....were damned if we do and damned if we dont.
