Why do we obsess over what famous pplz do?

i mean really everyone is like "is there a nelena" or "miley and nick are dating?" or currently it's "emily osment and mitchell musso!!" and "joe jonas and taylor swift are a thing" and then there's stuff like "does selena gomez hate miley cyrus" and "jason earles is really 30!" i know i'm mentioning disney stars a lot but really all of us [[including me]] wonder about celeb's lives when it's no where near our business...but really why don't we just butt out?

alls i'm saying is we need to let them live their lives cuz deep down they are juss regular pplz like us

What do you mean "We"? It's other people who glorify someone else's life like  (E! News, TV Guide, etc.) It's quite depressing.

We do it because it is fun. Learning about people is what many historians do. We can too.

I don't and couldn't care less what they do, unless get stalked or sick or dying or something, cause I would care about ANYONE that did that or had it happen to them.

But just because they are a celebrity? nah no way.

Its because people are sad and nosy. The people who are die hard fans of celeb gossip really just have nothing going on in their own life and celebs is the only way for them to find out stuff, i guess.

I take no interest whatsoever in their little lives, they are just people! Why do yous care so much!

The only thing i do like, which is based around what you said is The Hills....on mtv...but i guess its not exactly finding out whats in peoples lives because it is scripted

but people just need to get over themselves

I hear ya, that's why I'd never want to be famous. Paparazzi's always swarming after ya till the point you can't go anywhere, everyone poking in you love life, constantly being in the public eye ...ect. Never realized why people like watching things on TV about celebrities lives or talk about who they're seeing. It seems really boring to me

I think it's stupid. There are more important things in the world than stupid gossip. If people paid half as much attention to world problems as they do to celebrity gossip, we'd be a lot farther along.
