Have you ever noticed how we will worry the last strand of hair off our head over something and for what reason ? Because it always turns out ok in the end .Things always work out.Maybe not the way we want them but still they work out and over time we will even forget about them.

  1. There is an amazing passage by Marianne Williamson that sums it up, at least for me...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of the universe.  Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.  We are all meant to shine, as children do.  We were born to make manifest the glory of the divine that is within us.  It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I used to spend so much time fretting about everything.  If things were good, I was waiting for them to go south again.  If things were bad, I was wallowing in what I did to make things so bad.  In reality, everything is as it is supposed to be, and I am the only person who complicates my life!  The above passage reminds me that there isn't a darn thing to be afraid of except for myself.  I have a choice in everything, and when I choose to worry, I choose to complicate things!

    Great question!

  2. It much be our natures. We just have a habit naturally to make things more difficult.

  3. cause we're human and thats how we think. lol (its worse for teenagers!)

  4. because you are women

  5. It's a Christian and Buddhist observation.  "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself" is an obvious observation from the Bible.  And in Buddhism you're not supposed to lust over things you need nor worry about what you lack in life.  Be patient, and the answers will come to you.

I believe the reasons why we make things more complicated for ourselves is because of two things:

    1.  We generally tend to be impatient.  Instead of letting things take their course, we worry.

    2.  A lack of vision.  So many people aren't very good at seeing what scenarios are going to happen.  We don't always see the good that may come of a situation.  We see something bad approaching and just fall apart or let it get to us.

  6. because if we make things complicated then its more of a challenge

for us and then in the end we learn somethiin from it so its all good.
