Why do we only turn off the light?

when they use much less energy than TVs, computers, and other electronics?

Most people have multiple lights on at any given time and don't normally give it a second thought.....PLUS, turning off a light doesn't hurt anyones feelings.  Ask someone to go without tv for an hour and you'd think you just shot them!  Crying, wailing, and carrying on.  Geesh!

Not just appliances but think about every single thing humans do which impact our chances. There are other things which are a concern as well.

other than my fridge, freezer and furnace all was turned off they might have been plugged in but they were off

I turn off everything thing and those who turns off only light may be because of "light". may be they are used too to sleep in the dark.

I dont think its only the light we are suppost to turn off

I think we are to refrain from using any electrical or battery operated thing even if its not plugged in

and un plug stuff like fridge,TV ect
