When Russia moved its troops into Half of Georgia, 95% of the people there were Russian citizens. Georgia then attacked The russians in their country. The Russian military was simply trying to defend it's people.

  1. Russia was in the right. Georgia is just stirring up trouble because they were denied NATO membership. In case they hadn't noticed NATO is nothing more than a failure.

Georgia has the nerve to blame Europe and the USA for this Russian "attack." Funny how bush and mcbush are eating it up and trying to play fear tactics with the American people.

Give me a break. Georgia attacked, they got slapped, end of story. At least most Americans are seeing that this whole thing is BS and that bushie and mcbush are just stirring up trouble.

  2. idc

  3. Because Georgia is allowing the U.S. to set up bases within its borders to aid with deployment of troops to the Middle East.

    Don't wanna mess that up.

  4. I believe the "left wing" media wants to make Russia look like a big bully since they have the overall advantage in the situation.  Same goes with America invading Iraq.

  5. Because Georgia has been trying to escape Russian domination even before the Bolshevik Revolution. The disputed territory of South Ossetia, which is largley ethnic-Russians is what's fueling this war and the potential reconquest of the entire county. A good idea might be for both South and North Ossetia to merge and separate from both, but we're more than likely to see Osama Bin Laden surrender to US troops that the far-left thinks isn't in Afghanistan.

No, Brian W. This is NOT the same thing as the USA overthrowing Saddam Hussein and the Ba'athists in Iraq.
