Question:

Why do we sacrifice ourselves for convenience?

We don't all have to own cars, but it's simpler to drive ourselves than to work out carpool.

We use tons and tons of paper products (Styrofoam cups, paper plates, paper towels) to save time in washing the dishes or doing another load of laundry.

We eat fast food for its convenience, and America is the fattest country in the world.

Half the country (or more) doesn't recycle because they don't want to take the time to separate the recyclables from the trash.

Why do we sacrifice ourselves for convenience?

  1. Because we wanted results "yesterday" if that makes sense. Nobody is patient anymore, it even bothers some people to wait for 2 minutes while their McDonald's order is getting ready.

    Someday we'll learn...someday...

  2. Because unfortunately this is a throw away society, people just don't get it and don't care. Until there is no more water, rain forest etc.... people will care when it is toooo late.

  3. Expediency.
