Why do we see an ad for Obama on almost every Yahoo! page?

Okay, I understand that he's trying to reach a target audience and that he has oodles to spend.

Maybe I should have asked, "Is anybody else getting as tired of seeing his mug as I am?"

Because he has raised an enormous amount of money on the campaign trail.  And, he is choosing to buy ad space here on Yahoo --

Nothing sinister -- Obama has the money and the brains to buy space on Yahoo.  (After all, we're all sending our day hanging out here.)  McCain either doesn't have the money or is choosing to place ads in a different venue.

Obama has received a lot of campaign contributions, and a lot of his support has come from young adults who use the Internet. Perhaps his campaign manager is trying to reach Obama's target audience.

Yes, I'm also really tired of all the political rhetoric from both Democrats and Republicans, but it will only intensify after the conventions.

Because Sen Obama's campaign has paid for the advertising space.  I've also seen ads for Sen McCain on Yahoo!.

It is because he is one of the gods recognized by Yahoo.  You can easily see this for yourself if you ever are not VERY careful about how you word your answers if they are not supportive of Obama.  I was just recently found in "violation" for calling one of Obama's supporters a "looser", when He first had called me a Pig.  I do, however wish that they would put their god's name on the spell check list because it comes up as a miss spelled word every time I type it in.
