Why do we see infinite images ?

when two mirror are placed facing each other and we stand in between, we see unending number of images of our selfs.

  1. The reflection continues infinitely


  2. It's just the light bouncing back and forth.

    It's not really infinite because there's a small amount of light lost with each reflection.  It's not enough to notice so it looks infinite, but it's not.
