Why do we take adoption and foster parenting in this country so lightly, why doesn't it mean anything anymore

that is part of the problem when they are not nor have not been unwanted nor thrown away nor given away children not at all and more then likely not abused or neglected either not really people just want money in their own pockets

If this is so why isn't the case that the money that the child is getting to live in this foster home or adoptive home until it is 18 being saved for this kid and not spent on it? Why take it away from a poor parent to give it to a poor parent, that makes no sense?

Once they are 18 and taken away from their birth parents/family no one wants them anymore they ain't worth nothing to them then, and their parents loved them not you! Not you!

in my quest to adopt, which i did, i came across a saying which said...you may not have grown in my womb... but you grew in my heart.  i think many people still think of fostor and adopted children..especially older children as throwaway children.  no they do not always geta free education.  to many times, they turn 18 and thats it.  theyre done, gone out it the world.  they many times dont have a home to come back to.  it is sad.  your question rambles on to much.  we who have done fostor and adoptive care do it for the love of a child who was not born to us, but mean the same to us as our biological children.

Its the fact of knowing that they were going to have an abortion. I think it sreally dumb for a mother to tell a child that they were going to abort them.

I think abortion is wrong but people will give advice there opinions but give no help or support to the person in need. So I say MYOB

You dt have to be perfect to be a foster parent. Thery r in it for the money. My neices and nephews are abused by there foster parent and her children. The state was notified but did nothing, Parents are not perfect period.

Because they have been threw alot. Enduring that pain of not having birth parents

I think we should honor birth parents, foster parents, biological parents, and adoptive parents.  I am my daughter's third and forever mother.  I love and think about her birth mother and foster mother all the time.  How can you not love someone who helped make your child who they are, who made it possible for you to have in your life the person you love the most?  You have some info. a little wrong, however.  Foster parents do get paid, but adoptive parents do not.  In fact, adoptive parents pay fees for adoption services in order to adopt.  

Also in regard to your last paragraph, don't get me started on our education system and how unequitable and poorly financed it is!  I am a teacher and see so many ways the system could be improved.  I can only vote and do my best for the students in front of me.
