Its because its the right thing to do!  Hurt or no!!

because generally people are good. And telling the truth is the right thing to do, even when it hurts. It may hurt more to lie and the person eventually finds out the truth!!!

Most of the time, we are concerned about what others will think or say:however, the important thing is even if we do things to please others, does it make us a content person? The contentment, the true contentment comes only when we are honest and fair to our conscience.
