  1. I live in the present.. last time i checked.

you make it sound like our lives are already planned out and there is nothing we can do about it.

i don't believe in destiny or fate.

so.. i believe that we can still determine our future.

    okay, have a nice day!

  2. time is an invention of man. past and future labels are merely a distraction. the truth about everything and the nature of reality have been clouded from our minds. but there is a reason that you're not supposed to know. the reason is .... help they found me someone call the ... ahhh!!!!!lhds;gnbperoyubp 5293h85g7ftew5e.......

  3. The future has already happened, and it will continue to happen, Future, Past, and Present are all time, and each used to be a state of one of those three. Like for example, in a few seconds, this will be a past statement, but now, it is also a statement, and minutes ago, it was the future statement to this question.

As for the truth of reality, that's questionable, because what we try to answer is, what is reality? Is it what we are living now, or is it all a dream that will happen or has already happened.

  4. because the word future means "that which has not happened yet".

no these aren't just labels. no we are not brainwashed. they are well defined and well explained in physics. one way to look at it is entropy, the disorder of the universe. it always increases. this is because things can move at various speeds relative to one another, or be stopped. this is basically time, it can move forward at various speeds, or be stopped, as in not exist. but it can't go backwards. things move or not, they can't "unmove". so in a sense the future is basically where things haven't moved to yet, but will.

  5. Are you related to G.W. Bush? Recently he said, 'The future is yet to come'.

There is no such thing as time. Now is now and now is what we have to deal with. Today will be yesterday tomorrow and tomorrow never comes.

  6. No, the brain washing part is when it makes people think that the future and past actually exist.  When the truth is that the past doesn't really exist because it's already happened and gone and the future doesn't really exist because it always hasn't happened yet.  So all there really is is the present.

  7. The future exists as the possibilities of an otherwise impossible moment present. The future exists in the moment present, and it is in the moment present that it unfolds. I can say that there is no future without the present. This in my experience is true It is simple to understand, but this simplicity in fact hides one astoundingly significant reality time.

We have divided time up to assume it in its intervals and types. We look a time for the good of our own understanding. But this is to be realized that if there is no future without the present than there in fact is no future at all, i.e. there is no future as for example in form of a road that we might imagine driving along. Now, this is possible for us change roads, leave the previous one and drive off along the new one in another direction. We would not bring the road we were on to an end simply by leaving it, the road would stay where it always has been. This however is not possible in case of time. This is not possible for us to get off the time line, leaving it to carry on as for instance.

We think that future has not happened yet because we believe the future to be like the road I mentioned. We believe that we have not travelled far enough into the future yet. The reality however is that being in the present is also being with the future, if not in the future. The present is all po6ssibilities of the future, and a product of the past. When our futuristic potential react with the contents of our past, both get changed in the mind. We can look back at things of year ago, our view of them cold change in the light of new knowledge, a changed understanding of the past therefore could change the possibilities of the future in the moment present.

Time is not something as such, i.e. divided up into its three tense forms. I think time more like a wholesome reality of our physical being that exists within us in its entirety, in its moment now, the future, the past and the present all, changing all the time changing from back to forth and forth to backward again - it is not the future alone that is happening now, but also time in its entirety is happening now.

  8. Time is a hard thing to grasp mentally. It's not something which actually exists but it does pass. The categorization of time into hours is a human creation based on the movements of the Sun but before humans were around, the universe, sun, earth, dinasours etc all existed and time passed for them. So does time pass if nothing exists? Is time nothing more than generations of things existing in their present and then, eventually, not existing...effectively a measure of existence. If say before the universe existed, there was just a blank dark nothing, was time still passing?

  9. it has we just don't remember it

  10. Not happened yet. The universe is constantly expanding, forming new things. There is no way to go into the future, because it is not there yet.

  11. Just labels. Time doesn't actually exist. Things just happen. Biological organisms just grow and decay: they do not "get old" over "time" in any physical sense of the word. It is only our way of keeping track of when things start and finish for our own records.

  12. Due to the nature of our minds, we are only able to see time in sequence like a film being projected.  Only in certain states of consciousness is it possible to step "outside" the theater of the mind and experience the entirety of the film strip itself.

  13. The future is constantly happening, "now" is only relative, the future in any time beyond this second. Before you are done reading this message, you will have traveled to the future. (by all technicalities)

  14. coz it didnt happnd .......jeez.

  15. The future has two realities:

    I stay on Y!A til 4am

    I go to bed now.

Until I make that choice the future has not happened - works for me!

  16. You seem to be more of a "conspiracy theory" person from what you wrote about brainwashing.

All I know and belive in is that I live in the present. Always.

Future and Past are just tags or labels as you said to refer to and/or describe what has happened or what is likey to happen. Whether it's a war memory, a home video, or a new phone about to be released. These things don't change much when you come to think of it, all that matters is the moment you're in now, and how you can get the most out of it, to respect the past and to build a road for the future.

  17. Some will say the future has been predetermined by the creator, and some will say that the future cannot be forcast, but one thing for sure is, that when it happens it cannot be changed.

  18. Because if we went round proclaiming that the future has already occurred you are likely to end up under psychiatric care on anti psychotic medication!

  19. Because time is linear.

  20. what the f**k have you been smoking?
