Who says we do. How would the merchants gather their gold if we did? How would the power mongers ply their trade? Why is that near the end of any major conflict, our economies go to h**l? Old men argue and quarrel while young men fight and die. It is the world we live in. Our evolutionary broth brought to full boil.

what do you mean by "we", some unfortunate souls out there would love for Armageddon to happen now. perhaps because we know that if we ever reach such a disparaging state it will surely draw the end of the world as we know it. we want peace because we are afraid of the alternative.-blurey
