Why do white people hate native americans?

I go to a racist school and there is a few native americans and I'm a native person and a few people "hate" us. Do some kids pick up racism from their parents. They make a statement that "The United States is they're land" Why do they act like this?? Can somebody type up some history about this please? Thank you.

the one's who do so are ignorant and the only reason why they hate on us native americans is because they have bigote parents who didn't pass on any morals to them, a child is a reflection of their parents they do what they are shown it's sad that they are this way it's not their land it was taken from us by force and genocide!!! There are only two kinds of people ... the ignorant and the enlightened. Please enlighten your self. Your question is very prejudice. (prejudice meaning to pre-judge (which has nothing to do with race)) Yor question groups all "white" persons into a common mindset... shame on you... two wronges deffinatly do not make a right. I see everything and you need to step outside of your commfort zone and make an effort to know all kinds of different people so that you can see them for what they really are. Either a spiritual being inside of a human form, or a dead spirit inside a physical form. We all come from the same and we all go back to the same. Some of us figure it out some of us don't. 1/3 white americans have african ancestry because the black women were closer to rape then the native american women. You people lived far away from whites. Allot of white people say they have native american ancestry for some it is true but for many it is not true. They say they have native american because they cannot explain they dark features which usually is black. I mean look at those whites who are finally coming out like queen of england .Who ever royal families in europe married queen charolette descents have negroid ancestry and royal families usually keep it in the familly. Another person is the one of the first landy Jackie O had african ancestry. Many whites claimed native because they do not want to admit of having african ancestry remember blacks have high cheek bone also and have the fold over eyes and have dark features also.

At my school I have noticed the opposite going on, the Native Americans hate Caucasian individuals. Hate is a terrible thing, and it is a shame that people of all ethnic groups cannot solve their differences and come together for the common good of mankind.

I am native american (side note: I'm Cherokee...i dont know my exact amount...i know it's definately in my blood line...but I was always told I was a quarter) and i cant say i have faced hard descrimination because of it but i have been the brunt of alot of jokes for example, my mother is who i am cherokee by and my father is a white boy, so his friends would say that i should be named hiawatha when my mother was pregnant. I also have had other jokes made about being american indian aswell. Reasons why white people hate us are that they saw our way of living as wrong, inhumane, and wrong. They also thought of us as drunks and ,looking back now, drug addicts. But at the same time they had no problem putting us on reservations and cheating us out of our land. Especially when this was our land first and we tought them how to farm. Then on top of that they hav the audacity to call this new land... it's not new if someone was here first. During trail of tears they killed 25% of my tribe(Cherokee) died because of them conning us. Now, we are just a almost forgotten civilization. White people: please tell us what we did wrong.

This conversation is stupid!  Of course there are white people who hate natives, and natives who hate asians and so on.  Racism sucks but it does exist.  I am raising my kids NOT base whether they like someone or not, not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.  My kids have friends in many races and I love it.  As long as the kids are respectful to me and good to my kids.  Who cares?

I am unfortenatly from or listed as White.  No native american blood line.  I love the culture as a kid I grew up around Native people.  I think that the statment hate is harsh at least for me.  I have been in many POW WOWS and had a friend that was Native.  I think I is the other way around for me.  I have had threats and hostil no provoced incounters with native americans and by all rights the early whites took there freedom.  I was not invalved and if I could change the past I would.  I do everything Native that I can.

I know why I hate the natives around my town. It's cause all they do is pop out kids, stay on welfare, milk the system, steal and burn cars, vandalize property, beat honest folk up, and act like they're god's gift from heaven. Wake up people, get a f****n job, pay your share like the rest of the country. they are just stupid kids making stupid coments because you are different, thats it.
I grew up in a mostly mexican populated area and I am white red headed and blue eyed I wasn't treated and better. I was different and was treated as though I was a diesease.

most of the girls just hate white girls because we are not like them. but natiave americans rock. we all have a little or a lot of indian in us. no big deal kids can just be really mean and unjust to any one different.

im sure ever one in here is fairly young by the way the conversation is going and they way views are expressed, im only 2nd generation with actual u.s. citizenship my father was taken from his mother and father and raised by priest until he was 17 forbidden to even speak the language of my ancestors, yes hatered is learned even from white religion, so i speak from my i heart i do not like nor want to be apart of this country but i have no choice.  i live a very simple life because i choose too.. i just find it fascinating other peoples opions.  (segalli).
