Why do women accompany men in things men have interest- eventhough men dont care about accompanying women?

Question

Men go to boxing matches, or watch UFC at the bar-- and you'll always find women there, dressed up, mingling in the crowd (many of them non fans). However, men don't accompany women to whatever it is they do-- so why do women remain so amicable about accompanying or showing up at things that men have interest in eventhough men don't reciprocate?

Btw, what is it that women do anyway (those not interested in sports) that would be akin to men's interest in sports and games?

errrrr, many woman enjoy watching ufc and boxing themselfs. and i know alot of guys who love going shopping with their gf's.

if you've ever been laid or remotely come close to any kind of relationship with the opposite s*x (barring your mother), you'll know this.

Women like going to boxing matches because the men fighting are drop dead s**y.   I mean they have PERFECT bodies.

I guess I'm an exception to your perceptions because I hate baseball so I never go to baseball games with boyfriends.  I actually like basketball so if you see me at a basketball game it's because I want to be there.  Maybe these women actually want to be there?

What, you've never seen a guy at a chick flick movie?

One issue is there are few stereotypically female events; the stereotype is women are while men do, but you could count romantic comedies maybe? Or shopping.

Men do accompany women to these things, however there is more social stigma for a single guy to go someplace girly than for a single girl to go somewhere macho. They can be attending out of genuine interest, as well, btw

EDIT- well, mister uninformed, women go to the mall to shop, a traditional female activity. Men are spotted in the mall all the time.

I think women glom onto their men like that b/c they don't trust them. I think there's also a possibility that women know other women will be there, so it's kind of an arm-candy war: "See what I've got?" But I do think some have a genuine interest in the activities... some fake interest, just to tag along, though, too.

I don't know what women do??? I like ATVs and movies, so I guess a guy could tag along to the cinema. Although, I don't like "chick flicks," I do like Indies, and a lot of guys are put off by art-house films.

OK time to give away a Lady's secret ,one its a great way two meet men is at a place where men go and secondly because of the first reason is why women go to, is to make shore that the women there are not trying to meet there men.
