Why do women act like they dont know that how they dress effects men and how they react or respond?

how a woman dresses sends messages, why do they act like it doesnt? the more modesty the more respect, the less clothes the less respect.

Because a lot of women have lost their innate sense of modesty ,they think showing all their wares is attractive when the opposite is true at least it is true for me.

You're right, but honestly, sometimes we don't realize it.  When I was a teenager, I was completely oblivious to guys checking me out.  It wasn't until I had a boyfriend who pointed it out to me that I realized guys noticed when I dressed certain ways.  

As for the less clothes, the less respect thing, girls who dress like that have low self esteem (and sometimes "daddy" issues).  They, like the men who objectify them, don't know that the difference between a lady and a flower girl is the way she is treated.

I think about this more in the work place than in social settings.  I guess because some people dont have a life outside of work, they go in looking like they meant to go to the bar.

As a woman myself, in the work place, s**y is fine and cool, but having your cleavage showing or a skirt thats too short is just disrespectful and shows me you are at work to look good, not work.

Now out in social settings, it would have to be pretty trashy for me to give it a second thought.

That is your opinion. A woman should be able to walk naked in public and not be molested...its not about you mister.

I'd have to agree. It would be much easier on the men if women just wore down jackets....

I agree, and I'm a woman. Not Muslim or Christian. And it has nothing to do with being Muslim.

I was always taught that, to be dressed modestly, (like the difference between a knee length skirt and a mini) will gain more respect.

And leaving something to men's imaginations is actually sexier, than flaunting everything and acting like a "loose woman".

What mature man wants a woman who acts like she's not only been around her block a few times, but every block in the neighborhood.

From a woman opinion, when wearing clothes, each clothes has different meaning to every emotion. Like a beautiful dress that's so fancy means I love you and/or I'm so happy. A skirt means I'm ready to get out of here (this is my opinion) or I can't wait to go out with you. If they just wear lovely clothes, they want you to say that they look beautiful. That's pretty much it about what the responses for men to react of women's clothing. I hope I explain things a bit. If you don't respond to her clothes that often and she's your girlfriend? I say there's a good chance she's going to break up with you and finds somebody else. That's all I could say. By the way, less clothes like bikinis (not sure if spelling right, it's women's bathing suit style), they wants you to get closer to them and make them feel safe like hugging sort of. I hope I explain it a bit more. Women just wants to make you feel good seeing them that way and wants to hear your response so they know they look good. That's all.
