  1. And yet, here YOU are ...

    Cheers :-)

  2. Pick up a broom and wash cloth with 3 screaming hungry children...then ask the question again.

  3. Oh, I don't do "accessory", lol!

I have earned the right to speak freely.  And so I do.

  4. I have insomnia, that's why I'm on here at night.

And I do not by any means "get up in the morning and continue (my) life as an accessory with a smile on my face." I'm a loud, proud, feminazi, vigilante bonerkiller all hours of the day.

  5. I hardly see myself as an accessory.

I generally wake up grumbling about sandstorms and temperatures sailing up to 117 before 9 am.

Social standards of beauty... if I'm super energetic, I might gets some mascara on. Generally though, I'm makeup-less, hair tied into its customary bun, in combat boots and ACUs... like everyone else on post.

If you're curious, I didn't join the Army or deploy to meet men, cannot recall the last time I held hands with someone, let alone a woman.

The men I am friends with have random activities I partake in... videogames, mostly. Some of us met because I play guitar and so do they.

Due to my divorce, my standard of living went to h**l for a few months as I was saddled with a mortgage on our jointly purchased home in WV, rent at my oceanside house in VA, a car payment and insurance, all bills, alimony, and child support.

However, nowadays I sit on a comfy nest egg (that my alimony and child support don't devastate anymore) while my husband waits patiently for my check. I suspect he's less fulfilled than I am, because he informs me of this every single day.

So every single generalization you made is incorrect, in my case. I suggest you try again.

I may not be the best off human being on God's green earth but I'm satisfied with myself and it's good enough.
