  1. I think for me it is because I'm nervous...

  2. it's habit. my legs are figidy. some men do, but they look g*y.

  3. Nervous fidget, just like tapping your fingertips, clicking your nails, biting your lip, etc.

  4. Honestly, I learned it from my mom. I wanted to look more grown up when I was little so I imitated her. I gues it just stuck. I never really think about it anymore. My leg kinda just does it on its own. Haha

  5. Boredom, and yes, I've seen plenty of men do it, too.

  6. I don't know but lots of people do that. Maybe its the bodies way of keeping the circulation going. I have noticed that people who don't cross there legs seem to do it less

  7. A bad habit.  A nervous habit.  It also very bad for the circulation in the legs.

  8. Its to relieve pent up anxiety, nervousness, or extra energy.  Men do it too.

  9. It's a habit I have. Some men do it I'm sure.

  10. same for me. habit.

it's more lady-like to cross your legs i assume.

plus when you're impatient/anxious/nervous you do things like bounce your feet or toes, which is why you probably noticed it in a waiting room.
