Um... besides that guys wont be able to see up our skirts, it's comfortable. Or at least, for me it is. (Only because I've started crossing my legs when I sit ever since the second grade and now I've gotten used to it).

Honestly, it's more comfortable for me. Sitting with both feet on the floor feels awkward for some reason. And of course, if I'm wearing a skirt, to avoid showing more than I'm aiming for.

Different women sit like this for different reasons. I find that the most common are...

1. So that perverted guys don't look up their skirt/dress.

2. To make their appearance more formal and polite.

3. Just because they feel most comfortable sitting like that.

4. Maybe they really need to pee at that moment.
