Why do women enslave themselves shaving? ?

Why do women put such emphasis on shaving? There's something distinctly erotic about ladies with hairy legs, underarms ----Chests?!

sorry i'm g*y and don't mind my men a little hairy (gotta be a bit  tamed preferably) but I know people who have said similar about women when it comes to legs, underarms and down there but hairy chests? are you mad? do women get those? I don't think so...

What distinctly erotic about a woman with hairy legs, arms, underarms chests, privates..?  It not only shows laziness, but also un ethical, very unfemine, and uncaring of how they look...

If you think this is erotic, why not go after Sasquatch /  BigFoot...  Plenty of hair there..

i guess because society pressures them to.  i don't shave my legs, i like having em a little fuzzy.  i do shave my pits, though, hair there is uncomfortable and itchy.

Hmmm, well are you g*y or bi? If you're g*y well then, no duh you like masculine things. If you're bi you just got a bit of carry over, LOL.

I could be totally wrong though. IT is very possible that many men find it sexually appealing for a woman to have hair but due to a stigma society has placed on the idea and having witnessed most women hairless there whole lives their brain is just not going to accept it as acceptable.

Now, the emphasis on shaving is for two reason primarily I think. 1, to make themselves appear more attractive to a mate and 2, to make them feel better about themselves and their bodies.

Most women start shaving our legs and underarms when we're young teenagers as a social norm.   But, once we start, if we ever go too long without shaving, the resulting hair feels uncomfortable.   So, it becomes about comfort in addition to social norm.

I've never seen a woman with a hairy chest.

I prefer to not look like a man. So I have to shave my legs,and under my arms. Plus,I don't think my husband would want to be with me if I had more hair than him.

I wouldn't call it enslaving for every woman. Sometimes it's for personal hygiene, comfort, health or personal preference.

In my case, I have eczema and shaving helps reduce dirt accumulation on my skin and therefore helps my skin irritations. (Talking about legs and pits here).

As for p***y shaving, that's totally a personal preference. I sometimes shave simply because I find it makes s*x more enjoyable for me and my partner.

The question could be reversed too. I mean, why do men enslave themselves shaving their faces or any other body part? My boyfriend definitely hates having to shave his face even if it's ever couple of days, but he prefers that to the alternative.

For the same reasons as I shave my private parts he does the same. We both enjoy it more! He once shaved his chest out of sheer curiosity, but hasn't done it again since.
