Why do women from the UK seem to be so much healthier than US women?

Celebrities anyway. Danielle Llyod, Jennifer Ellison,Jodie Marsh,Keely Hazel (I think) are just a few examples. BEAUTIFUL women with full BODIES and not little twigs..Especially Danielle, gawd I love her!

(And yes I left Amy Winehouse out haha)

Europeans are more healthy than U.S. citizens in general because they get more exercise, pace themselves with meals, and don't eat the portions we do or a lot of processed foods.

uk has the highest rate of obesity in europe and is fast catching up to america. amy wino is not really a good example lol. women look good when they are healthy though, i agree

That's funny, I just saw a BBC Doc called Pissed and Pregnant that stated that women in the UK drink the most in the world, AND they are the biggest drinkers while pregnant. The same doc also talked about how liver disease is becoming more common among young drinkers in the UK. I have no idea who any of the people are who you mentioned, but you can't judge hundreds of millions of women in the US against a handful of British celebrities that have millions of pounds to spend on good food and personal trainers.

I agree with Maria's answer. While UK women's faces are usually a little distorted and mangled from generations of inbreeding, their diets are usually well rounded and the fact that not many people drive in London adds a much needed dose of exercise.

Rural and suburban areas in the US have led women to drive more, walk less and grab a quick bite at drive-thru windows. The difference in health between a typical midwestern woman and one from a bigger city such as New York is very noticeable as well.

The UK is more Socialist than the United States.  As you get more Socialist, the more citizens get healthier.

My input. They eat healthier and less for one. But second they have the weather and good sense to keep out of the harmful rays of the sun and tanning parlors.

Have to add, only better accent is from Australians.
