Why do women get pregnant when they are?

Why do women pregnant when they are drunk? I don't understand what drunkeness has to do with getting you prego. Can someone please explain this?

I find it so weird, when people say oh they were drunk that's why they had s*x with so and so. alcohol actually kills your need for s*x. people are just stupid.

Alcohol lowers your "defenses" I guess. I don't know how to phrase that. It makes you more easy going, and more willing I suppose. Easier. But it's a horrible excuse for getting pregnant.

Probably because they are more relaxed and not thinking about it so much and getting theirselves all stressed out.

Because they should be using protection and they're silly enough (ie: drunk enough) to 'forget'. Or they don't make a real big deal of telling the guy they just picked up that he should use a condom. Mostly we're talking about girls at parties etc, not women drinking a bottle of wine with dinner at home and sleeping with their husbands :) LOL

It isn't the alcohol that has anything to do with it. When you are drunk, your ability to think straight and make decisions is impaired, so if you sleep with someone, you may be less likely to use protection and make smart decisions.

Its not just being drunk that makes them pregnant, its the fact that there ovulating or about to ovulate there extremely relaxed and  care free so your body has no stress...when woman who are TTC and don't get pregnant a lot of it has to do with stress believe it or not your body reacts to stress so when your drunk your not stressed you could careless most of the time right? thats why its usually easier or seems easier for them to get pregnant.
