Question:

Why do women hate gentlemen so much?

If you are a healthy, confident man who respects a woman, she will not merely ignore you, but actually hate you for it. On the other hand, men who are disrespectful, unfaithful, and abusive, are worshipped by women as being s**y and fun.

Does this mean that I need to mistreat women in order for them to like me?

  1. Women want aggressive men to have s*x with them and then it is all the man's fault.  Having s*x with gentle men takes acceptance of genial s*x which does not fit in with their values.  Just an observation on my part.

  2. It doesn't mean that you need to mistreat women to get them to like you, it just means that you probably know a lot of a) really S****y girls/boys, or b) people who dislike people being kind to them.

I agree with what the other poster said about certain behavior having potential to come off as condescending.

Do you think it would help if you personally addressed (at least locally) the women you speak of, along with the men you speak of, and asked them face to face about this behavior and the reasoning behind it?

  3. hey how many men respect women?? ive not met any yet. i have had all the same lines and the same c**p when u first meet a man, and after a few months it all changes...respect goes out of the window. Why dos this happen to me? cos im a giver, i give and give and make sure my fella is happy, and he gets so complacent, im almost his surrogate mother. is that me to blame for being too nice? or him for taking?

  4. Women don't hate gentleman.

You need to surround yourself with a better class of people.

"...men who are disrespectful, unfaithful, and abusive, are worshipped by women as being s**y and fun."

Blanket statements such as this one almost always sound ignorant.

I can show you plenty of disrespectful, unfaithful, and abusive men who are in prison, shelters, or living in squalor - where I can assure you, they are worshipped by no one.

  5. You're describing a primarily Anglosphere phenomenon.  Being a gentleman or a Nice Guy will get you better results in the Far East, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.

If you insist on being liked by women in the U.S., I'm not saying you have to mistreat them, but you'll have to get some of that Game and Confidence all those Exciting Dangermen apparently have.

  6. No, women are kind of like men. Men like women who are ladylike and normal, but in the bedroom they want them to act like a s**t! Women want a gentleman, but they want them to be rough and "hardcore". If your having such problems then toughen your image, but still be a gentleman! We do love gentlemen!

  7. Seriously... This is what I think.

Normally, most guys who come off as a gentleman-turn into the biggest (butts). Most of the time, the kindness and respect changes and they turn into jerks. If they dont change, they turn out to be the most borning persons in the world.

I will tell you a secret. Most women like drama. They like something going on and something to talk about or fuss about. (Not all the time) but it happens.

Just wait, one day, the women who like the partiers and cheaters will decide that its time to settle down and have a family and when that happens, you will be the one they come to.

  8. Erm I'm not sure where you live, it sounds a pretty wierd place!

  9. Wha?

Confident man = ok but overly confident is not ok, i just think they're arrogant

respect a woman = May God bless you, you earn a respect too ( i fall for guys like this, my fiance is one of them)

Maybe that particular woman you're talking about just hate you for something else...or maybe she's just a confused soul

  10. You're talking about girls, hon.  Immature GIRLS are the ones looking for the bad boy and waiting to be treated poorly.  Mature women don't do this--we appreciate and love a man that treats us right and who is confident in himself.

They say "nice guys finish last" but I say "nice guys finish best".  They get the confident, mature, well rounded women were as the bad boys get the unsure, ditzy girls.

  11. It's just the feminists that hate chivalry.  Women in general love it.

  12. Uh, if all women hate you, I suspect it's because you don't in fact respect women.

For instance, this very question assumes we're all identical to each other, which anyone with any sense at all would realize is untrue.

It's simply a big lie that all women worship abusive men. If all of the women you're attracted to worship abusive men, you might want to take a look at your choices.

  13. One rarely hears the word "gentlemen" mentioned by feminists except in answer to questions to do with "chivalry", at which time what were hitherto referred to as "males" are suddenly and miraculously transformed into "gentlemen".

    (Yes, another double standard.)

  14. I LOVE gentlemen! It means that their mothers succeeded in raising them, which is an uncommon thing these days.

I don't think nice is boring at all. I think it is really s**y. Caring is s**y. What these women to whom you are referring are reacting to is an abusive childhood that probably involved an abusive and absent father.

I don't want to waste my time with mean-spirited and abusive men.

So, don't change into something you're not or go against your value system, you won't be happy.

How old are you and are you a hottie!? lol!

edit:CELTISH: Actually, there is a term 'gentlewoman' as outlined in The Book of Courtiers, but it is not used as commonly anymore.

Wow, what a difference between BigBody and Strangelove III. Being yourself vs having Game. Personally, I would pick the former in a man as it deals with genuineness and reject the latter because it deals with deceit.

  15. Man, I have been there before.  I have been told I am good looking, nice, charming, and and going places in life.  Despite that, It seems as though the women I wanted turned out to end up liking losers that treated them badly.  I think its just one of those things where a female wants some excitement in her life and wants to have fun.  What they dont realize is that while they "play" they are missing out on the real men.  And when they finally realize what they missed out on, its too late.  I know that women post on here that not all women are like that ..which is true ..but there must be a lot of them since us guys run into them so much.  U wouldnt beleive the girls that have come back to me trying to hang out or talk to me after several years dating the wrong guys.  Luckily for me, as will eventually be the case with you, I met and married woman who liked me for me.  I wouldnt worry about it. Dont mistreat them though ...be yourself

  16. Nö dö nöt mistreat.  Yöu are stupid with this questiön.

  17. not all of us hate gentlemen. but some of us, all we can find is the abusive, disrespectful, unfaithful men. and its all we know anymore. and we meet gentlemen who treat us so different, but we usually think your hiding your immature and all that stuff on another side. and we are waiting for you to hurt us. the gentlemen just have to truly stay patient, and don't pretend to be a gentleman if your going to be stay that way. we'll see after a while when its real and when it's not!

  18. I don't hate them, where to I find one so that I can trade my husband in>?LOL

  19. I'm sorry, Mike, but you got it all wrong.  If in case you have witnessed this, then you are dealing with an oddity.  Any woman who actually likes an abusive man has problems you don't want to deal with.

    Good women like good men.

    Siggy

  20. i don't hate them. my bf is a healthy, confident man who respects women. i wouldn't be with him otherwise.

  21. You asked this the other day and we answered you the other day.

Frequently, behavior that some men think is "gentlemanly" comes off as condescending and forced.

No, you don't need to mistreat women to get them to like you, you just need to be yourself and stop being artificial and treat women like humans, not fragile southern belles.
