This is where you have several cysts on your ovaries, then your body gears up to ovulate, a cyst pops but there is no egg, sometimes you do ovulate on an anovulatory cycle but the eggs are not mature. There are several reason why a woman can stop ovulating.

women don't produce eggs in their life they were born with about 5,000,000 eggs which stored in their overy and make them be fertile in their fertile years and then when they reach to monopouse the ovaries stop realeasing eggs becaz of deacreasing the special hormons in their body in related to aging..

well according to my knowledge that i learn in school, woman or female stop producing eggs cuz they already menopause. menopause is actually age at where the menstruation stops. so during this age, the female will produce less of hormone estrogen and progesterone.that's why they will easy to get osteoporosis (bone disease). that what i know...
