I've seen this from both sexes.

My theory: They all think if they don't stay in constant contact with their friends, they will realize how boring and mundane their lives really are!  This gives them a sense of being.  "I talk on my cell phone, therefore I am!"

I've been in stores where people are talking in line (and slowing down the world for the rest of us) and I've listened.  I've heard NOTHING that couldn't be talked about at home, or at a better time.

Some people just have ROTTEN manners in public!!!

I see more than enough men driving while one their cell phones.

You should know better than to generalize your question.

Most people do talk on their phones while driving.

It's not illegal everywhere.

Some people are better at it than others.

It isn't just women.

And you have to be a pretty terrible driver never to look in your rear view mirror. Are you saying that all women are terrible drivers?

Men do it to and they do it because they are to stupid to care about the safety of the others on the road. They are not suppose to do it here but the cops do so they do not pull anyone over.
