I am including two meal shakes replacement with lots of fiber and if I do not drink water I am close to constipated, I never had those problems and is the opposite of I thought it would happen.

  1. your body need water to help flush everything through. i know if i don't get enough water everyday i feel icky

  2. Generally when you increase fiber you are trying to detox your system, and water acts as a serious aide when doing so.

  3. So that the "residue" from the fiber doesn't get stuck and cause further constipation, or cause a dangerous obstruction (which can happen sometimes with supplements).
