  1. I believe in God because science shows how little of the world we as humans can actually perceive.  If God lived in some microuniverse woven into the fabric of the earth we would have no way of finding any physical proof.  Yet accepting God as friend, mentor, and creator allows me to see the small ways that his eternal love touches me while allowing me to keep my free will.  This love is why I believe in God and hope to one day be united with him in paradise.

  2. Nope, there's no proof

  3. To me the idea of a God is a security blanket. The world is place that is run by no rhythm or reason. so when something happens that appears to be unfair, such as a unexpected death, a religious person can just say its Gods will and all is explained. Now before anyone jumps on me for that statement. I almost envy someone who can think in that manner, because I just can't. Sometime bad things happen to good people and no higher power is responsible. Same goes for positive things. We live in a world of cause and effect, a simple decision such as leaving for work 5 min. late can cause a chain that could lead to the difference between life or death. Its that uncertainty that makes the umbrella of God so appealing.

  4. I don't believe.

It's pretty simple...all the 'evidence' of God's nature comes from religious books.  There are over 6,000 different gods that have been worshiped by mankind.  So...I figure that mankind doesn't really have a clue.  And, if there is an afterlife, I'll find out soon enough.  I might as well enjoy life while I'm here, and let the chips fall where they may.

  5. i believe in God.

why? because God created everthing, proof of God is all around us. we ourselves are proof that there is a God. its kinda hard to prove there isnt a God

  6. I personally don't believe because there is no physical proof of it existing. Is there proof God created the world? No but there is a big bang theory that shows some type of evidence. It's just not scientifically logical to me. I may not believe in God but I can respect if other do. I just don't like when religious people tell me I'm going to h**l because of my "lack of faith" or try to impose their views on me. If I don't believe in it, it doesn't apply to me. Religion can be great if it can make you a better person and accepting of others.

I was raised catholic and since I was young it just didnt make sense to me that someone that cannot be seen did all this. Plus I like to think that I can guide myself through what life throws at me.

  7. I think everyone has an unprovable belief concerning God. I believe that God exists so that I might honestly seek the love that (I hope) He must have for me. A belief is "to assume as true". I assume God exists otherwise I couldn't honest seek Him.

Other people believe that God doesn't exist so that they may live their lives without the interference of God's authority over how they live their lives. No one is free to make up their own purpose for their existence nor their own system of "right and wrong" unless they first have "assumed as true" that their Creator doesn't exist. Their assumption is that being independent of God will bring them ultimate happiness.  The assumptions under which we live are not always apparent to us, but those assumptions are there, nonetheless.

So we either believe that God exists or we believe that He doesn't. There are no other choices and neither is provable.

  8. I know God is real.  I struggled for more than 20 years with drugs and all the drama that goes with that life style.  I gave my life to Christ while I was still doing drugs and now I have been drug free for around 4 years.  I have a job I love and some of the best friends I have ever had.  All I did was search for him accepted him into my heart and sought knowledge of him and everything in my life just fell into place.  I am not saying my life is perfect or without troubles but I now react to problems in a peace filled mannor thanks to Jesus Christ.

  9. I believe in God because ever since I was young I knew that there was someone or something far more intelligent than ourselves had to create this magnificent planet and all the things in it. So, as young as I was, I started asking questions and then went to church on my own to find out more. All the foretold prophecies I read about that have already come to pass and then some. As far as to the end of days , it's there too, while others are saying something on a scientific level to explain it all. And, God has been good to me, and has answered many of my prayers and has blessed me.
