  1. -better for my health

    -tastes better

    -better fot the environment

  2. i say all three because the organic fruit is tastey, good for you, and better for earth.

  3. 3,1,2

  4. "Organic food" is a consumer fraud.  The "organic" label is a licence to charge higher prices for an inferior product.  Some facts about "organic" farming:

    1.  Lower crop yields.

    2.  More pesticides are used due the fact that the ones used in "organic" farming are less effective than modern pesticides.

    3.  Poor shelf life due to exposure to bacteria and insects.

    4.  Increased risk of food poisoning due to heavy use of manure.

  5. yes is better no Pesticides

the taste is different and the color is different

  6. - i think it is better for my health

    - it is better for the enviornment

    - i think it tastes better

the last one is where it is because, quite frankly, i dont find it much different, although it is more expensive.

  7. -Organic foods are better for your health. They are better than conventionally grown foods even in a direct comparison (I.E. organic apple vs regular apple) and they are certainly better than the hyper-processed slurry we call "food" in this country (IE Organic Apple vs Apple flavored fruit snacks)

-Organic foods almost always taste better, especially if they are local. When it comes to food, the sooner you get it after it has been harvested, baked, or killed, the better it is going to taste. (I.E. fresh caught fish vs fish fillet sandwich)

-Most certainly, of course again locally grown and organic is better. While organic produce that you may find in a grocery store is better than conventional foods in terms of environmental impact, they are still grown on huge farms with massive machinery, and have to be shipped usually from California. Locally grown food travels less, and almost always goes to support the backbone of the local economy.

  8. Sorry but I don't.

Simply put - without protecting crops and doing everything possible to manage production with the necessary nutrients to provide maximum growth and output to feed millions of people world wide we would have problems beyond belief.  Organic may imply great things but the farmers are not wasting chemicals that are applied to food crops.  They are in business to make money.

Organics cost more, generate more waste and are a logistic nightmare.

By creating the organic food supply we have added additional trucks and ships to supply the organic products.  If every product was organic - we would have food shortages.

Good for those pretentious people that think they are doing the environment justice by eating organic.
