Why do you dislike the WNBA?

We all know the WNBA doesn't get enough credit. You don't have to like it. But I'm tired of hearing ignorant excuses "oh they are girls" "oh they don't dunk." Come on. And yeah, they are good. You're almighty NBA players have said that the women are fantastic. They know the great players. They know the talent. They have said these things.

So man it up.

If you don't like the WNBA, go ahead and tell me why. No stupid answers.

The thing is, they have commercials related to sexism and how people think WNBA is boring, but the thing is no one's doing anything to prove us wrong except Candace Parker, it's not exciting, boring to watch, sure they have some skill but mostly they just chuck up 3's and do simple lay-ups.

Honestly I did not like the WNBA a few years ago. The reason for this is because the game just didn't seem exciting and the women didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. But then I realized how dumb me and a bunch of other people were. The women are aggressive and there are fun players to watch like Candace Parker and Tamika Catchings. But in all honesty I still prefer watching NBA basketball because I have been with it so long. But give it time, soon others will find out that the  WNBA is a league full of talented athletes and that women are great B-ball players too. Oh and the women's national team is dominating in the Olympics this year.

It's not exciting. Like you said no dunk. The dunk is one of the most exciting parts of the game. The alley oops. What about a tenacious rebound? WNBA lacks tenacity and agression and fast paced speed the NBA does. NBA has more power, more speed, more zip on the ball. Bigger, better.

Yeah they may be good ..but would you rather have a Toyota Camry (a GREAT car) or a Ferrari?

Honestly it just doesn't interest me i don't know why. I just get bored watching it.

Mainly because is less aggresive, mind blowing and the reputation cant be compared to the NBA

Several reasons:

1) The lack of speed relative to the NBA game.  For better or for worse the two leagues will always be compared to one another.  Generally speaking, women don't have the same amount of muscle mass as men.  So they move slower.  Not very exciting.

2) The lack of power relative to the NBA game.  I grew up watching dominant big men uproot defenders who dared oppose them, like Shaq did in his prime.  When you throw a ball deep into the post, there is supposed to be an epic battle of brawn.  WNBA brawn does not compare to NBA brawn.

3) The lack of spectacular atheletic plays in the open floor.  I'm used to seeing McGrady break away for a slam or LBJ rumble down the court for a rim rattling stuff.  Or even Shaq with the occasional steal and full court finger roll.  I just don't get this out of the WNBA game.

4) The fact that the league offices keep trying to force the game on us.   If nobody's watching, or not enough people are watching....that means that they ARE NOT interested.  Nobody likes desperation.

5) The "reverse psychology" commercial that say things like "If you want to see real basketball don't look here"  *Click* thats all I need to hear, I want to see real ball.  Bad advertising.

Well, if you're a real basketball fan then you don't have a problem with the WNBA. I am a real basketball fan. It's not exciting but it's still d**n fun to watch because it's basketball and I love basketball.
