Why do you dress the way you do?

To express who I am and how I feel, to be creative, to conform or to play a part and  for comfort.

I don't dress in styles and trends, and I am not just saying this to try and stand out and be different.  In my honest opinion style has nothing to do with fashion at all--it's all in the fit of the clothing that's fashionable.  Something that looks and fits great on one person has a high probability of looking very different on my body because everyone is shaped differently.  I go for what will fit my body shape, because then, no matter what 'style' it is, it will look great.  I avoid going to the same store over and over again, instead I look in every store for items that might possibly fit me in a way that highlights what looks good and shades what doesn't.  

So, to put it as your question originally asked...

Why do you dress the way you do: I dress the way I do because it is what makes ME look beautiful.

How is it that you dress: Anyway that fits my body, you don't work with the clothes, you work with yourself.

And this is not coming from an adult, it is from a teen.  I have learned my lesson of the fads and how they make my body look terrible, and I taught myself how to dress by observing how some older women look so much better than us teens and mimicking what they do--taking a look at themself in the mirror and seeing myself for who I truly am instead of who I want to be.

I dress very simple, casual, yet nicer than the average jeans/tees.

Most of my everyday wardrobe is a pair of bootcut/flare jeans with a baby-T or other shaping T's. I especially like the ones with messages, etc.

For work, it's always slacks and button shirts. I do this because this is more comfortable than anything.

Because that's who they are, and thats what makes us us, and unique, if all dressed the same, then that'd be boring. I dress preppy, trendy, and try to look my best. But yea, it's just who you are. It's your personality, and its who u choose to be.

The average 16-year-old ozzie kid dresses like theyre friggin on top of the world. I dress VERY representable - in Winter, like I am from a Siberian Winter. I do that cause I am European - and proud of it!
