  1. The nerve inside your body has excitement nerve when you watch the TV. Your appetite become hunger for food, yeah. To be honest, I eat food a lot when I watch the TV. lol

  2. arghh, its frustrating isnt it? youve got a big bag of chips in front of you while watching tv and before you know it, its all gone.

its because you want to occupy yourself while watching tv, and since youre not actually really 'eating', more just mindlessly consuming, it doesnt feel like youve eaten because you havent really savoured the feeling of food in your mouth. so it feels like you never even ate in the first place, and you can eat several times more than what youd usually eat.

    its my little sin :)

  3. because u are mentally focused on the thing u r watching u dont realise just how much food u are really shoving in your mouth! its just a natural robotic movement lol ......and then u notice the empty packet of chips and wonder where it all went

  4. The mental/visual stimulation triggers a need for other stimuli.  Food is the easiest way to satisfy this need.

  5. The need to be physically occupied while you are mentally focused. That's why many people watch TV while on treadmills.
