You can not choose who you fall in Love with. You can really really like someone, but not love that person. Conversly, you can hate someone and still be in love with that person.

it is true that it is hard to fight/ control our feelings towards someone that we love. but if we know the truth behind having that feelings/relationship well even it is hard to do we must try & try faithfully to control it or lets say avoid it.

believe your self that you can avoid that feelings, and accompanying it with working it out.

we cannot move on or lets say we cannot do things if we wont give an effort to do it,and if we dont believe.

believe me you can avoid it im sharing this thoughts to you cause ive been in that situation before.

if you can lessen times that you spend with him but do it in a way that is not obvious to your friend.

BECAUSE WELL JUST RECENTLY I FELL IN LOVE WITH A GIRL I MET AT A PARTY...I LIKED HER ALOT BECAUSE SHE TREATED ME DIFFERENTLY...IM A SUCKER FOR NICE GIRLS...AND PLUS SHES SO CUTE!!!!

Because you have not control over your own feelings- sad but true. quit denying it and just roll with what ever happens.

Is there a specific reason you did not want to fall for him?? Is he a bad boy or something?

You can decide not to see him or be with him/ but your feelings will remain at least until the next thing comes along.

Hmm the more you try to avoid him - the more you want him i think...

So say your thinking to avoid him, your thoughts would probably contradict themselves and you'd start thinking, "wait why am i avoiding him again". So you'd weigh up the good and bad points about him; and your conclusion may weigh in his favor. Plus all this time your thinking about him lol. And maybe he feels the same and you guys get on so well.

Also if you think about him before you sleep, your most likely to dream about him...and we can't control our dreams. So in the morning you may like him even more.

Kinda hard i guess if you like someone so much, b/c its so easy to go from that to a little bit more :)

If he likes you too then just let go of trying to avoid him.

It is really an unresolved phenomena. You just don't ever feel that what is your heart doing. You can't even understand that have you fallen in love or what is it.

Perhaps from a psychological perspective we might do this because we can't help from craving a certain something that was not present in our early years. This would apply to most people since there is no such thing as perfect parenting and a perfect childhood.

It may also be that this desire is in our genes as nature's way of making us want to produce more kids.

thats probably a crush, or an infatuation, its good to be in love, people need companionship, no one would want to be lonely

Perhaps you yourself fall in love with "people" I have fallen in love with someone.

You cant fall in love with lots of different people, its not the same as loving them its deeper and this kinda love is for one person only.

Infatuation mirrors love for some people, perhaps this is what you have been experiencing.

I know how ya feel! this guy (now my bf) was my best friend for 5 years and he is cute but that's not why i fall for guys ya know what i mean! anyway he isn't smart he doesn't try to be funny he doesn't like throw himself at girls he isn't charming he never know what to say! I don't know why i can't stay away!

I honestly can't say why, but I do know that love is inevitable and you find it when you least expect to. I'm married to my best friend, in the beginning we were just friends, but thats how a lot of these things happen.. First you are friends, then you fall in love, its inevitable. When you try to avoid it you just think more and more about that person and then all of a sudden you can't stop thinking about him/her and you fall in love. Good luck. I'd pursue it. Love starting as a friendship is one of the strongest bonds!
