  1. The room is cooler than inside the shower. When you exit the shower, your body loses heat to the room. The loss of heat makes you feel chilly.

Furthermore, the evaporation of water on your body removes heat, and you feel even colder, as compared to if you are dry.

  2. Because the water you shower in is quite warmer than the outside air and you body adjusts to that temperature and when you step outside you feel a chill because your body has to adjust to the temperature outside.

    Hope this helped

  3. The water on you evaporates, and takes heat off your body with it.  So you feel chilled.

  4. water needs lot of energy to go from a liquid to a gas, so when it evaporates from your body, it is stealing energy, in the form of heat to evaporate in to a gas.

a reverse example is you would get burned more by touching steam that is 212 degrees than water that is 212 degrees.  Because when water turns from steam back to liquid, it realizes a ton of energy
