Why do you feel sticky when you get out of a pool, even after drying?

I've noticed that whenever I've gone for a swim in a chlorinated pool, I always feel sticky, even after I've dried off. Is that a result of the chemicals, or is there something I'm overlooking?

i never got sticky before  and i swim all the time

If it's an indoor pool, it's probably the humidity. And it could be that you're sweaty, especially if you've done a long workout.  Your body will continue to sweat for a bit even after you get out of the water and dry off.  Humid air + sweating = sticky feeling.

DONT DRINK THE WATER!!! BUT IF IT IS NOT THAT IT IS ABOUT CHEMICALS!! I remember every time I go out from this swimming pool I am sticky and smell like clorox.

its worse if someone has urinated in it
