  1. it's just so .. natural.

  2. freedom!

  3. It's the greatest activity one can do, in my opinion.  It doesn't matter if you are flying high or low, fast or slow; just to be in the air looking out over the earth is a fantastic feeling.  The satisfaction of piloting through a busy area, (such as Los Angeles), is a great feeling of accomplishment when done right.  It's exciting to fly across the country also.

    We learn a lot about the earth because of the vantage point instead of having to just look at pictures.

    You can usually tell when someone is into aviation when they are constantly looking up when they hear an aircraft.

    Everyone has thier favorites, but mine is aviation.

  4. After forty years? Money.

  5. I fly to get there fast!That is the only reason I fly.I actually hate everything else about it.I would much rather travel by car,unless I am in  a real hurry!

  6. Commercial:  Time and cost.  If you fly alone, there is normally no cheaper and faster way to get where you are going (assuming distances over 500 miles).  If you fly as a family, you save time but not necessarily money.

    Private:  Recreation and getaway opportunities plus the feeling of three dimensional flight.

  7. I got to see places i only dream of and gets paid while accompanying the plane.

  8. I love it. To me it's like breathing. I just can't quit because its a part of me now. Everything is great about flying, it's a completely different world up there!

  9. freedom to go where ever I choose at any speed I want and not hafta worry about a whole lot

  10. its a lot faster then walkin or drivin buddy row! :)

  11. 1. its great to get paid to do what most people only dream about :)

    2. never stuck at a desk

    3. 100$ hamburgers

    Really I think this poem sums it all up :

    IMPRESSIONS OF A PILOT

    Flight is freedom in its purest form,

    To dance with the clouds which follow a storm;

    To roll and glide, to wheel and spin,

    To feel the joy that swells within;

    To leave the earth with its troubles and fly,

    And know the warmth of a clear spring sky;

    Then back to earth at the end of a day,

    Released from the tensions which melted away.

    Should my end come while I am in flight,

    Whether brightest day or darkest night;

    Spare me your pity and shrug off the pain,

    Secure in the knowledge that I'd do it again;

    For each of us is created to die,

    And within me I know,

    I was born to fly.

  14. I had a real job once and didn't like it. Flying airplanes is just fun. It beats real work.

  15. cause it is the safest way to travel.   I have skydived and i love it.  Flying is so fun, it makes u really enjoy life while u can.  It can make u fell so good. ^_^

  16. I hate driving.. takes so long and there is alot more idiots on the road.. plus the view is amazing, and there is nothing better, or more tranquil then flying on top of a sliver cloud layer, with clear blue skies above and your the only one around you can see.. Your are litterally on top of the world, and I love the challenge. Nothing like shooting an ILS to almost miniums to show yourself the things that you can accomplish on your own..I cant say it better than this...

    High Flight

    Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth

    And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

    Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth

    Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things

    You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung

    High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there

    I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung

    My eager craft through footless halls of air.

    Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,

    I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace

    Where never lark, or even eagle flew -

    And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod

    The high untresspassed sanctity of space,

    Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
