  1. Somehow they always get their items cheap. Take amazone for example the sell nearly everything cheaper than retail stores. Reason been i am not sure where their goods are from. I am guessing inported from another country where they buy at a cheaper price.

  2. If you buy things from them online, they don't have to mark up prices to pay for a building, sales associates, and usually taxes that are associated with retail stores.

  3. Some of them are still extortionate especially when they add shipping or P&P.

Generally it's lower overheads why they sell cheaper.

  4. With paying in a shop there is tax, lighting, rent and the staff to pay for.

Online its just the domain that need to be paid for, all payments are processed straight to the delivery unit of the company.

  5. They don't have to pay for the fuel and storage costs to ship it to the store. If you order online, they drop ship it from their main warehouse or from the manufacturer right to you. You pay for the shipping. You don't pay the sales commissions or the higher markup they have to charge to recoup the cost of shipping it to the store and letting it take up shelf space. It's more profitable for them if you pay for the shipping.

    Good luck.
